UPDATE: The Tralee workshop is now fully booked.

Learn the traditional art of Tatreez while showing solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Tatreez is a type of cross-stitch embroidery, traditional to Palestine. But it is far more than that. It is a rich, centuries old tradition that tells ancient stories through intricate stitches and meaningful patterns that weave together generations of history, identity and resilience.

This workshop is being delivered by Wafa’a Mustafa Zeniah, a Palestinian woman now living in Dublin. The whole fee for the workshop is going directly to help families she is connected with in Gaza.

  • Places are limited so booking is essential
  • Each workshop will last about 2 1/2 to 3 hours
  • Concession rates for students and unwaged.
  • places are non-refundable but are transferable

NB PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SELECT 'CLICK & COLLECT' AT THE CHECKOUT SO YOU DON'T GET CHARGED FOR POSTAGE.

All materials will be provided and there will be a raffle on the day to win a lovely Tatreez starter pack to help you continue this beautiful craft.

Donations can be made on the day for Palestinian snacks that will be served by Eamon, using his secret family recipe. The money raised from these will go to 'Gaza go Bragh', an Irish grassroots initiative providing vital support in Gaza.
